Winter Beauty Haul

Wednesday, 4 January 2017

I've done a bit of shopping recently... so I wanted to blog for you all on the things I've bought.

I didn't actually realise how much I'd bought until I put everything in a pile.

And now I'm quite ashamed of how much I've got! But lets just think of them as Christmas presents from me to me.

I've split them into High End and Drugstore as there were too many items to fit in one picture! (oops)

High End

Kylie Jenner Cosmetics: Exposed Lip Kit
Kylie Jenner Cosmetics: Mary Jo K Lip Kit
Kylie Jenner Cosmetics: So Cute Lip Gloss
Chanel: Soleil Tan De Chanel
Makeup Forever: Ultra HD Foundation
Burberry: Trench Kiss
Bobbi Brown: Mini Mask Trio
Makeup Revolution: Oval Brush (not actually high end!)

Chanel: Soleil Tan De Chanel
One of my favourite cream products. This is the second pot I've bought and the first one lasted me yearssss. In fact I still have some and I've just decided its probably gone off now. Genuinely I think I got it in 2011...
You only need a tiny bit and it blends so well - plus the packaging is so pretty

Makeup Forever: Ultra HD Foundation
This was actually a present! I'm a bridesmaid in March and the Mother of the Bride very kindly bought me this to wear to the wedding. Its such an amazing foundation; buildable and my perfect colour. Plus it makes your skin look flawless but natural.

Burberry: Trench Kiss
This is a pale brown nude lipstick. I have quite a few Burberry lipsticks as they're so nice and creamy. It isn't very pigmented so lives a nice natural finish. You can see the colour below.

Makeup Revolution: Oval Brush
I'm not sure why I grouped this in with the high end products...maybe because it looks high end. I own the bigger version of this brush (review here) and I'm obsessed. I got this little one to do my concealer and it works so well. So affordable too!

Bobbi Brown: Mini Mask Trio
Ok so these are amazing. Amazing! My cousin bought me this trio to thank me for doing her wedding makeup, which was very sweet. I gave my cousin the Skin Nourish one so I just have Radiance Boost and Instant Detox.

Instant Detox is the best clay mask I have ever used EVER. It got rid of a spot that I had in one day.
Literally, one day.

Also when I put it on my nose after about 10 minutes I could see all the oil being drawn out of my pores.

Buy it its insane.

This photo is just to show how pretty the packaging of these products are! And you can see the colour of Trench Kiss by Burberry.

Batiste Dry Shampoo in the Blush Scent
I love the Batsite Dry Shampoo, its really cheap and really good. I've never used this blush smell before, but a friend of mine has it and it smells so good so I had to buy it!

OGX Keratin Oil Shampoo and Conditioner
I usally just use Aussie shampoo and conditioner for the smell, but Boots had a deal on these and I thought I'd try something new. They don't smell quite as nice as the Aussie ones, but someone commented today on how shiny my hair and I love that!

OGX Brazillian Keratin Smooth Shampoo and Conditioner
I needed some minis for my upcoming holiday to Thailand so I thought I'd try these. I am all about straight shiny hair!

Garnier Micellar Oil Wipes
I loveee these wipes - I think this is my fourth packet. I don't usually use wipes to take off my makeup, but I've been using these to take off the bulk of my makeup before cleansing and I really like them. I've also used them when travelling as I don't want to pack all my cleansers to take with me and they're really good and my face feels clean.

Garnier Oil Infused Micellar Water
I got this because of how much I love the wipes and I'm really enjoying using it to take off my eyemakeup. Its really gentle but hydrating and takes off even waterproof mascara.

NYX Dewy Finish Setting Spray
I usually use the matte version of this spray, but I was doing my cousins Wedding Makeup recently and she has dry skin so I wanted the dewy one. I find the matte one a bit too matte, so I've actually been using this one myself too :)

Rimmel Stay Matte Powder
I've heard people rave about this for years and I'm running low on my under eye powders from my Anastasia Beverly Hills palette so I thought I'd try it. Its really good and so much cheaper! I'm a convert!

L'Oreal Infallible Powder
You might think I wouldn't need another powder after the Rimmel one, but this one has colour and I use throughout the day on my oil AF nose!

Bourjois Don't Pink of It Velvet Lipstick
I don't actually like this. It is just too pink for me, so I think I'm going to donate it to a friend. I like the formula though!

Charles Worthington Sunshine Protection Spray
I dye my hair so I always take a sunshine protector on holiday to stop the colour fading. I've never tried this one before but I wanted a mini bottle for my trip. So I'll have to report back on whether its good!

And those are all my purchases!

New Years Resolution...shop less!
