Real Techniques Bold Metal Dupes

Monday, 14 March 2016

I thought I'd give you a break from my Costa Rican blogs for a minute and update you on beauty again.

Don't worry though there are still a couple of Costa Rican blogs to come...

I set myself a makeup spending ban in February.

Sometimes I go through my makeup collection and find things I didn't even know I had...so I thought it was a good idea to use what I have and save some money in February.

But now that its March I can shop again right?

I was reading through some blogs on bloglovin and saw a review of some make up brushes.

I can't actually for the life of me remember who wrote the blog!

But it inspired me to take a look at these brushes.

They're a 7 piece set of "Real Techniques" brushes.

Now I am well aware that they aren't the Real Techniques Bold Metals Brushes.

But they're really soft beautiful brushes regardless.

And for £8 for 7 they're a bargain!

You get two face brushes:

Two contour brushes:

 And three eye brushes:

I love Real Techniques brushes and when they came out with their Bold Metals collection I wanted them all. They're their higher end brushes though and they're £25 for one.

The whole set will set you back £130.

I don't think these dupes are as heavy or good quality but they're the same shape and the brush hairs are so soft so they're definitely worth the £8

In fact they're so affordable that I bought two sets one for me one for my bestie, and sent them to her as a surprise in the post :)

Nothing better than getting a surprise in the post :)

You can never have enough make up brushes right?

Speaking of which. If you want to win a set of my favourite Royal & Langnickel brushes you can enter my giveaway here

    1. I used the whole set to do my makeup on Saturday night and they worked really well. They aren't as heavy as the Real Techniques ones but the bristles are super soft and I washed them before I used them and they didn't moult at all! For £8 you can't really go wrong!

  2. Those are just beautiful! I totally fell in love with the RT metal brushes when I first saw them, but I'll probably take a look at these first ;) Thanks for the dupe recommendation!

  3. This looks like such a lovely set and at that price they're a right bargain! :) I love the look of the RT ones but there's no way I'm spending that much on brushes haha
