IMATS 2015 Haul

Thursday, 23 July 2015

On the 11th July I took my bestie Jess ( Jessicaannmartin ) to IMATS for her birthday present!

We did a fair bit of shopping... so I thought I would do a haul for you!

The first thing is this 13 piece Makeup Brush set from Royal Langnickel

There were so many brush brands at IMATS so it was really hard to pick my favourite, but these ones were so so soft and they had so many colour options

They come in either a wrap (for travelling) or this box for keeping on your makeup table

I chose the box and have put my other brushes in the lid so its very handy!

The "Love is Patience" style come in turquoise and purple

And are super cute! They have loads of different colours, for example the "Love is Hopeful" ones are yellow and blue.

I have now tried out all the brushes, except the flat foundation brush, and I must say I love them. The pale brush hairs mean you can see how much product is on your brush. They are really soft, don't moult and the stippling foundation brush is my new fave way to apply my foundation which I didn't expect!

Love these!

NARS had a big stand at IMATS and I was very excited to get a new radiant creamy concealer in custard...unfortunately that is their most popular colour and they'd sold out :(

I did however still get a NARS item...

They had a whole wall of different NARS sets and they were all only £16!

This Andy Warhol NARS film case retailed originally for £54

I just loveeee NARS packaging!

In the kit you get two blushes (Deep Throat - on the left and Amour on the right). They are both really pigmented and beautiful

This Edie eyeshadow which is slightly shimmery - a subtle inner corner highlight I feel

This nude lipstick called Film Star...which I'm unsure about...I haven't tried it yet, so we shall see! It might be handy as a base for a brighter lipstick as it looks like it might mute out my lips!

You also get an eyeliner which is actually really good. You need about two coats to make it fully black...but the other day I slept in it at a boy sleepover (naughtyyyy)...and it stayed on pretty well! So that's impressive

The next thing I got was a lip vinyl in the colour Vinyl Seduction Damson

It was only £3.50 and retails for £7

I would never normally go for a purple, but I thought I'd give it a try and I actually really like it.

The formula was a little sticky, so I think I would not wear this on a windy day with my hair down! Its really pigmented though!

Next is something I'm really excited about.

These are 100% mink lashes and are the softest lightest things!

I got the style You Complete Me

They are just so fluffy! I haven't worn them yet as I'm saving them... maybe this weekend though!

They were £15 and are usually £18

The final things I bought were from Inglot

I got two shadows and a lipgloss...

The shadows are number 12 and number 157

And the lipgloss is in the shade 65

The eyeshadows are really blendable and pigmented and the lipgloss is seriously pigmented and a colour I've never seen before - it's kind of a copper red!

I wish they'd have more imaginative names though... makeup items with just numbers for their names bore meeee..

If you went to IMATS tweet me and let me know what you got - or even better send me the links to your haul blogs so I can read them!

I love all the bits I got!
