Vegas - Day 2 - Shopping on the Strip and Tao

Monday, 15 June 2015

On our second day we woke up starving and ready for our designated shopping day.

We wandered through our hotel and out onto the strip

(What is Craps? I still have zero idea)

It was a slightly cloudy day but really warm

We headed to Denny's for brunch and all ordered full breakfasts with pancakes.

P had Peanut Butter cup ones which were amazeeee - I recommend!

We then wandered through the Venetian to see the gondolas

We all threw a penny and made a wish....which I do every time I go

and then wandered into St Mark's Square

How beautiful is that!

And then crossed the road over to the Mirage where Rachel and Zahra left us to go to the pool.

I then took P and Ruby into Ceasers for a bit of shopping!

We stopped in Nars...

Then Bath and Body Works

And Sephora

But I'll show you what I got in a Haul Blog!

It was then time to get ready for a night out at Tao at the Venetian

Walking down the Strip as a girl is so funny in Vegas because if you are even slightly attractive all the promoters stop you in the street and try and get you to go to their club that night. It means we spent so little money as entry and drinks are free - that's my kind of night!

We got ready and headed out for dinner

I wore a gold bandage dress which Rachel veryyy kindly gave me!

And did a neutral smokey eye

I had my hair straight and use Foxy Locks Extensions in the colours Brown/Black

We walked across the strip to P F Changs which is a chinese restaurant in Planet Hollywood. The food was actually really good and not too pricey

We then got a cab down to the Venetian and got into the guest list queue.

Rachel - the charmer that she is, after about 5 mins of queueing, asked one of the bouncers whether we could just go straight in - surprisingly he said yes and we walked straight in.

As soon as we got in we went to find our promoters table, but were taken to one side by a bouncer, he led us into the VIP area and then took us to a table of Australian guys.
They were actually really nice and harmless - not the types to try it on so we had a great night!

It started off nice and innocent...

But then drinks were had...

I'm assuming Zahra's recation below is to the random naked girls in the bath!

P and I had a bit of a dance...but honestly I don't think you appreciate how thin this ledge was...

I'm hoping the above was taken before the below... I nearly fell even without the vodka!

(PS - Quite pleased with how my salsa calves are looking)

Think I might be taking a nap on this chap...

There was definitely a cake...

And this is where I lose my memory

Who on earth are these men!

We had the best night! I got all stroppy when everyone wanted to leave at about 2.45am...called them dull and then fell asleep in the cab...
