Another Easter blog for you!

This weekend Rachel and I got into the Easter spirit...

And made these little beauties!

You need:

185g Dark Chocolate
185g Unsalted Butter
85g Plain Flour
40g Cocoa Powder
3 Eggs
275g Caster Sugar
6 Cadbury Creme Eggs

First things first, put your Creme Eggs in the fridge...they need to be cold so you can cut them in half later
Then preheat your oven to 180degrees

Melt 185g Dark Chocolate in a bowl until nearly fully melted
We did ours in the microwave

Then cut 185g butter into squares and add this to the chocolate mix

Melt them together in the microwave until both are fully melted

Like so...
Put that aside.

Then crack three eggs into a seperate bowl

Add your sugar (275g worth)

And whisk

Whisk alot...until they are frothy and have increased in size

Then whisk the egg mixture into the chocolate mixture...

Oo action shot...loverlyyyy

Weigh out your flour (85g) and cocoa (40g)

I'm in loveeee with the cocoaaaa

Sift this into the chocolate mix and fold in

Don't use the whisk!

The mix now looks something like this...

Line a square baking tin...

And pour in the mix...

Pop this in the oven for 20mins at 180degrees

And have a little me time...

Glass of wine and bowl licking?

What could be worse!

Whilst the brownies bake, cut six creme eggs in half...

Not actually that easy to do, but it doesn't matter if they are a bit messy

After 20 mins remove your brownies from the oven

And place the egg halves on top

Bake for another 10-15mins

And you have yourself a treattttt

Eat them warm with a spoon (my faveeee)

Or plate up and save for later!
