March 2015 Favourites

Monday, 30 March 2015

Bad blogger... I did not do February favourites...

But to be honest I was in Brazil for half the month and for one week in March so I figured I would combine the two into my March favesss...

I tried to be selective...

Lets start with hair favourites...

3 More Inches - Pre-Wash Treatment by Michael Van Clarke
Now this stuff is a bit pricey at £29 for 500ml

But it has lasted me so long. I think you can see from the picture that I have maybe used a third? And I have had it since the Summer....
I think since about July? And I use it nearly every time I wash my hair!

Now I wash my hair maybe twice or three times a week so I'm not an everyday girllll - But I think that's impressive!

I really have noticed a difference in my hair since using this as well as getting regular cuts at Michael Van Clarke. My hair just looks better - I don't even have to do anything to it and it looks nice, plus it really has grown quite a lot.

I just put a few pumps of this onto my hand and massage through the ends of my hair and then any excess on the top. I then tie it in a bun and sleep with it in before I wash it out in the morning.
So I always do this on a day when I know I need to wash my hair the next morning.

My hair has always been the type that doesn't grow but now it is just below my nipples...

Yup that's how I'm going to measure the length....nipples

I could even do some kind of sexy  topless photoshoot and be able to just have my hair keeping me modest...

Bit far?

Next product!

Aussie's Miracle Dry Shampoo
This is £4.99 in Boots for 180ml

This is a new purchase for March as in February I tried out the Colab one.

I'm going to be honest, I like this Aussie one much more. It smells yummmyy - like all the Aussie products, whereas the Colab one I had (in the smell London) was a bit too perfumey and mixed with the actual perfume I was wearing.

I used to be a Batiste girl, but someone said to me the other day that the problem with Batiste is everyone knows the smell is dry shampoo.

And I agree with them! Batiste in the original smell has a very distinctive smell and if you smell that on someone when you hug them you knowww its dry shampoo!

Next are my makeup picks for Feb and March...

For some reason these are all L'Oreal...and that is not deliberate at all, I just picked out my favourite things!

My first two I have already blogged about:

L'Oreal Infallible 24hour Matte Foundation in Sand
£7.99

This stuff is good....I mean really good.

It just perfectly matches my natural skin colour and looks flawless.

I don't know about 24 hour but it lasts me throughout the day without any need for powder.

I do get a slightly oily nose through the day, but that happens with any makeup and I will speak about my solution a bit further down this page!

L'Oreal True Match Concealer in the colour 4
£6.99

I haven't used another concealer since purchasing this, it blends easily and doesn't crease, plus the shade 4 has a yellow undertone so has replaced my NARS concealer in custard which I don't want to splash out on and replace.

I'm not sure why its only a pound cheaper than the foundation which is a much bigger tube...but I will forgive them

L'Oreal Collection Privee - J.Lo's Nude
£6.99

This is pretty much all I've been wearing this month on a day to day basis.

I like nude lips with a tan and this one is natural and doesn't have too much colour pay off so that it is obvious and bold

I even got my friend Jess ( http://jessicaannmartin.blogspot.co.uk/ )onto it when she said she didn't like nude lipsticks!

L'Oreal Eyebrow Artiste Plump in Dark
£5.99

I do not go a day without this stuff.

This brow gel sets your brows in place but also adds little fibres to them so they look fuller and fills in any little gaps.

If I'm going for a natural looks I skip my Dip Brow Pomade from Anastasia Beverly Hills and just go for this...

How often do I have a natural day though really!

My final bits are just in the "face" category

Urban Decay - All Nighter, Makeup Setting Spray
£21

I have had this a year...and still haven't run out.

It is just one of my all time favourite things.

Your face feels more hydrated and looks more glowy plus your face stays on for longer

What's not to love?

I'm trying out a drugstore version at the moment...but the spray just isn't fine enough and you just feel a bit like you have a wet face afterwards!

Kleenex Shine Absorbing Sheets
£2.99

These are brilliant.

I have a pack in my bag and a pack on my desk and at about 3pm I blot my face and marvel at the oil that comes off.

It is so interesting to see!

Plus my makeup looks better afterwards without the need to add anything more to my face.

They have a sticky little pad on the top so every time you open the little pouch a fresh sheet is just picked up for you - like at the top!

Those are all my favourites for February and March! Let me know if you have any recommendations in the comments below!
