A Colorsport Blogging Event

Thursday, 27 November 2014

My bestie jessicaannmartin.blogspot.com and I were invited by Brodie and Stone (a beauty PR firm) to an event for Colorsport

It was at the Soho Hotel, so Jess and I met at Victoria and headed up to Soho.

I went for an Autumnal look - Kylie Jenner lips (but with gloss), fur, leather and tartan...

Leather Jacket - Topshop
Tartan Scarf - Burberry
Fur - A flea market in Paris
Glasses - Prada

We arrived at the Soho hotel and headed down stairs to the Sandra Blow Room...

Passing Christmas trees as we went :)

We were greeted with wine by the Colorsport team and headed over to the makeup artist (whose name I can't remember - rude) to hear about the new products from Colorsport.

The first product was the new Smokey Eyes and Perfect Brows Kit.

This kit comes with all the tools you need to do your brows and a smokey eye.

Jess and I were slightly sceptical about the blonde colour, as we have been trying for months to find Jess the perfect match for her brows.

All the colours we try and find for her are too dark as her hair is so blonde and she is so fair.

This colour was the best match we've found so far, but it does need to be applied with a very light hand.

The next product we tried out was the Rapid Lash-Gro Eyeliner.

I went for the brown colour rather than the black and the makeup artist applied it for me

I'm not really into eyeliner - probably the only makeup item I'm not into - so I asked her to do it subtly rather than a massive wing.

I actually really liked the results and have worn it everyday this week. It just makes my lashes look a little thicker, but is natural because it is brown.

We then let some of the other girls have a go and had some naughty canapes and wine

We chatted to some other bloggers

and

had another glass of wine..

posed for some photos...

and headed off to dinner with goodie bags in hands!

It was the first blogging event I've been to and I really enjoyed it...especially as Jess and I got to go together
I hope we're invited to some more!

Thank you Colorsport for inviting us to the event and to Brodie and Stone for sending us some of the above pics - which are much better quality than mine!

I have now tried out all the products we received, so keep an eye out for my review blog which I'll do in the coming week...
