Disney Frozen Nail Tutorial

Friday, 3 October 2014

So my friend Fran and I are a bit into Frozen...we sing the sound track rather a lot at work, so when we heard they were doing a sing a long version of the film at an open air cinema at Hampton Court we knew we needed tickets!!

Obviously I love a theme, so I needed Frozen appropriate nails for our cinema experience! Here is how I did them...

First of all I had to cope with the worst thing that can happennnnn. I broke my nail :( lifting a stupid gianormous mirror up my stairs!

Nail glue to the rescueeeeee:

The colours I used for this nail art are:

Barry M - White Nail Varnish
Barry M - Cyan Blue Nail Varnish
No7 Silver Glitter Nail Polish (which is soooo olddddd - but still works fine)
Seche Vite top coat
Revlon Sun Candy Nail Art Duo in the colour Sun Shower

I personally wouldn't have called this colour "Sun Shower", its more like "Mermaid Tail"

I painted three coats of "Sun Shower" on all my nails apart from my ring fingers which I painted white.

I then used the "Sun Shower" glitter end on all my bluey coloured nails

I then moved onto the two white nails:

I used a little nail art brush to paint Barry M Cyan Blue snowflakes on the white nails.

And then used Sun Shower to paint on two little snowflakes

I then covered the whole thing in the silver glitter

And there you have it: Frozen Nails

Also as a parting note...I want this phone case so bad!!
