Wish list for Autumn Fashion

Thursday, 18 September 2014

I love Autumn. I have always been a sun seeker and can't wait to bask in the sun at every available moment, but this year and last I think Autumn has been my favourite season. I love wearing boots, cardigans, scarves and jackets in deep saturated colours and layering a look.

I am a winter skin tone (at my Secretarial College we were tested) so the colours which suit me are bright white, grey, navy, black, deep greens, dark reds etc. Pastel colours look shocking on me and wash me out and don't ever expect to see me in orange or brown!

I'm not pretending I know anything about fashion, I don't generally follow a trend and am not one of those people who fills their wardrobe with in trend stuff every season. I know my staple basics and what I like.

These are some of the things on my wish list for Autumn!

I did some shopping on BooHoo.com the other day and bought some Autumn staples:

This wrap front jumper is in the colour wine and was £15. Considering it was so cheap it is actually really soft and I'm really enjoying wearing it....in fact I'm wearing it right now! It looks really nice with a pair of jeans and riding boots and a deep wine coloured lip. It's my favourite wardrobe item at the moment

I also bought this black jumpsuit for £15. I thought that I could wear a cardigan over it or layer it with a jumper for daytime, or alternatively dress it up with heels for a night out (which is what I'm going to do this Saturday). I don't currently have a long mirror in my flat so it's hard to take outfit selfies!

I also bought this grey waterfall front cardigan for £15 which is the same material as my wine jumper so nice and soft.

Enough of the shopping I have done, these are the things I wanttt:

I want these high waisted skinny jeans:

I want this chunky knit cardigan, either in this colour or black and white:

This suede jacket - can you feel a theme of colours developing?

All of the above items are from Misguided so very affordable which I like!

This scarf from asos, although I already have a similar one from burberry

Or this one when its not quite as cold:

Basically give me anything wine coloured or checked and I am going to be happy....just as long as it isn't checked pastel! There are many more things I want, a dark green checked shirt, a navy silk shirt, a pair of ripped dark navy jeans but if I list everything this will be stupidly long!

Check out my bestie Jess' blog on what Jumpers she wants this season! http://jessicaannmartin.blogspot.co.uk/2014/09/i-love-winter.html
That Hogwarts one is definitely a bit of me!
